Do’s and Don’ts For Guests Staying at the Holiday Isle Resort

Here are a few things to know when planning your vacation to Holiday Isle Resort. 

Guest Check-In

Located off the coast of Alabama, Dauphin Island offers 17 miles of pristine beach on each side. Guests may fly to Dauphin Island but be advised that the airport can only handle smaller aircraft like personal planes. Most vacationers who live outside driving distance fly to Mobile, Alabama, from where it is only a 46-minute drive south.

Holiday Isle Resort can be found on the Gulf on Bienville Boulevard on the western side of the island. It is centrally located on the island, meaning local attractions, restaurants, shopping centers, and reserve parks are easy to visit. Turn right on Bienville Boulevard after crossing the Dauphin Island Bridge, and after 1.5 miles you will see Holiday Isle on the left. From the resort, visitors can easily walk down to the water, heading to the Gulf.

ACP Rentals has offices located in the condo complex, so upon arrival at the resort, proceed to the front desk on the first floor for check-in. 

Room Amenities

All condo rentals include private balconies, fitted with tables and chairs for more comfortable views of the Gulf. Rooms are spacious and brightly colored, and they include modern-furnishings and a breakfast bar. Additionally, guests receive access to washing machines and dryers as well as on-site parking. 

Each guest receives access to elegant and luxurious amenities, such as a fitness room with a gulf view, rooftop tennis court, jacuzzi and sauna pair, an outdoor pool facing the gulf, a heated indoor pool, and a steam room. 

Do’s & Don’ts for the Pool

For all the incredible amenities the resort offers, there are some important things to remember when taking advantage of the pool. 

• Pools and hot tubs are open from 8:00 am to midnight. Do come by for a swim during this time! 
• For everyone’s safety no diving, running, or throwing balls or toys is allowed. 
• No food is allowed in the pool area.
• No smoking or vaping.
• Please do not bring any glass items into the pool area, and beach and sand toys are not allowed. 
• Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
• Lifeguards are NOT on duty at any of the pools, so parents, do be sure to keep an eye on the children! 

By keeping these few safety precautions in mind, it will make your Dauphin Island experience more enjoyable for yourself and other guests.

Do’s & Don’ts for the Beach

A few important things to remember when enjoying the beautiful beaches of Dauphin Island: 

• There are no lifeguards, so do make sure an adult is always supervising children in the water!
• Don’t litter. Do pick up any discarded rubbish you find. We need every guest’s help to keep our beaches clean!
• Don’t leave anything behind besides footprints and sandcastles! Double-check that you have all your belongings before returning to the resort. 
• Do enjoy the pristine sand and gorgeous Gulf water!
• Ask the front desk for a beach cart to help carry items to the beach.
