Dority’s Bar is a great place for tasty, casual dining. A local, family-owned business, the restaurant has an intimate feel as though you’re being invited over for a neighbor’s barbecue. Dority’s has a large outdoor space and many options for outdoor seating. There’s also a sandbox for the kids, and Dority’s frequently features live music to add to the ambiance. For a relaxing evening with great food and entertainment, Dority’s is the right place to come!
Menu
Dority’s does not have a set menu, so options change from day to day. Some classic options have included hamburgers, pulled pork sandwiches, Mediterranean pizza, 4-cheese pizza, and seared tuna on flatbread. Sides and appetizers have included chicken wings, chicken nachos, sweet potato fries, and potato salad. Food is fresh and homemade, and part of the restaurant’s charm is discovering the menu of the day.

Dority’s is open from 6 p.m. – 10 p.m. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Since it is a small, family-owned business, there may be occasional disruptions to the normal schedule, so it’s best to call ahead to confirm their hours (call at 251-861-4853). They are located at 1010 Bienville Boulevard.

La Fortuna, located at 910 Lafayette Place, is the closest rental to Dority’s, a 10-minute walk or a 2-minute drive. This rental is tucked away on a tiny street in the central part of the island. Finally, consider staying at Holiday Isle Resort on 1601 Bienville Boulevard. It is a 3-minute drive from Dority’s. The resort offers luxury condo rentals with unobstructed Gulf Views from each balcony. Rentals include 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom units, and there are a few penthouse condos for larger groups.
