Welcome to your Dauphin Island escape at Sandcastle Condos! Located on the island’s peaceful East End, this 2-bedroom, 2.5-bath townhome-style condo offers a comfortable retreat just steps from the beach and community amenities. Sandcastle is tucked away on Dauphin Island's East End, giving you the opportunity to slow down, relax, and enjoy the laid-back charm that makes Dauphin Island such a special place. Located in Building 7, the condo is conveniently situated just behind Building 6, with easy access to the community’s private beaches and pools. A short boardwalk located behind the building makes getting to the beach simple and convenient, whether you’re heading out for a morning walk, an afternoon in the sun, or a sunset stroll along the shore.

Parking for up to two vehicles is available underneath the condo, and a flight of stairs leads to the main living level. Inside, the open-concept layout makes it easy for everyone to spend time together. The living room features sliding glass doors that open onto the balcony, allowing you to enjoy the island surroundings. The living area flows naturally into the dining space and kitchen, creating a comfortable gathering place for meals, games, morning coffee, or simply catching up after a day at the beach. The kitchen features bar seating and remains open to the living and dining areas, so the chef of the group never has to miss out on the conversation. A convenient half bathroom is also located on this level.

Upstairs, you’ll find two spacious bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom, giving everyone their own comfortable space to unwind. The primary suite features a king-size bed and its own private balcony, providing another peaceful spot to enjoy the island breeze. The connected bathroom offers a relaxing soaking tub as well as a separate stand-up shower. At the opposite end of the hallway, the guest bedroom is ideal for families or children traveling with you, offering a queen-size bed along with a twin-over-twin bunk bed. The guest bedroom also has its own private bathroom with a stand-up shower.

Dauphin Island’s East End is a wonderful choice for guests looking to experience the island’s natural beauty, history, and quieter side. The eastern end of the island is home to some of Dauphin Island’s most beloved attractions, including historic Fort Gaines, the Dauphin Island Sea Lab and Alabama Aquarium, and the Audubon Bird Sanctuary. Spend the morning exploring the trails and diverse coastal habitats of the bird sanctuary, discover the island’s fascinating history at Fort Gaines, or head out for a day of fishing, boating, and exploring the surrounding waters.

Spend your days swimming in the community pool, walking the shoreline, searching for seashells, fishing, kayaking, or simply relaxing with a good book. Dauphin Island is known for its uncrowded beaches, abundant wildlife, fishing, birding, and beautiful sunsets, earning its nickname as the “Sunset Capital of Alabama.”

The Sandcastle HOA limits occupancy to a maximum of 6 guests at all times and allows a maximum of 2 vehicles per condo.

Sandcastle Community amenities include two pools with covered cabanas, and boardwalk access to the beach.
