"The house was very large and had many amenities that were used such as the charcoal grill, hot tub, both sets of washer/dryers, the air hockey table, indoor basket hoops game, both kitchens, ample parking for our five vehicles, outdoor screened in patio on the back porch, several of the televisions, and easy access to the walk and bike path that was the length of the island. There were so many beds, 4 kings, 7 queens, 2 twins and 1 twin sofa bed. There were also ample baths, 3 large walk in bathrooms, 2 more private full bathrooms, a shared hallway bath, and a 1/2 bathroom. The kitchens were fully working, and one thermostat for each of the three floors. Overall, the house had so much for us to use. It was perfect in many ways. We appreciated the opportunity and had a great time using the home. Would rent it again for sure!

Dauphin Island Big House for the big WIN!!!

"We had a group of 3 families and TEN teenagers, needless to say we had a lot of boxes to check to find the right space to accomodate 16 people. The DI Big House ensured all the adults were in a king sized bed and all the kids had a bed if their own. There was gathering space inside and out, the kids loved the tiki bar and hot tub. The adults thoroughly enjoyed the screened in deck and large bedrooms/bathrooms. This house isn’t meant to be fancy with high end finishes, but it is super spacious, comfortable, clean, quiet, and in a very nice location on the island. We brought bikes and scooters and the boys adventured together all over the island. Also, we had an issue at check in and our host responded within 90 seconds and resolved it immediately. Big props to the owners who were incredibly communicative and kind. We’ll be back! Finally, if you can squeeze a golf cart rental into your budget, DI is a FABULOUS place to cruise around.
