Thoughtfully named with Selah in mind, a beautiful word from the Bible often associated with pausing, reflecting, and resting, SEAlah combines that sense of peace with a little nod to the sea. Tucked away at the very end of a quiet street on Dauphin Island’s peaceful East End, this beautifully decorated 3-bedroom, 2-bath home is surrounded by mature trees and offers a wonderful sense of privacy and tranquility.

From the moment you arrive, you’ll notice the care and thought the owners have put into creating a home where guests can truly feel comfortable and welcomed. SEAlah is completely ground level with no stairs, offering convenient stair-free access throughout the entire home. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered to make your stay easy, comfortable, and relaxing.

The front porch is the perfect place to begin your SEAlah experience. Two comfortable loungers with plush cushions invite you to sit back with your morning coffee, settle in with a good book, or simply enjoy the quiet surroundings. Tucked away at the end of the road beneath the trees, the porch offers a peaceful place to slow down and take in the sounds and stillness of the island.

Inside, SEAlah features an open floor plan that makes it easy to gather together while still providing plenty of room to relax. The living room centers around a large, comfortable sectional sofa facing a large TV, creating a cozy spot for movie nights, relaxing after a day at the beach, or simply spending time together. Just off the living room, the dining area features a dining table with comfortable seating and a large window that fills the space with natural light. The open kitchen is conveniently located just beyond the dining area, with a kitchen bar providing additional seating and keeping everyone connected while meals are being prepared.

The spacious primary suite offers a peaceful retreat with a large, comfortable bed dressed with luxurious pillows and plenty of room to settle in and unwind. The private bathroom adds an extra touch of convenience and privacy. On the opposite side of the home, two additional bedrooms each feature comfortable queen beds, with a shared bathroom conveniently located between them. One of the guest bedrooms also includes a TV, providing an additional space to relax. A dedicated laundry room is also available for your convenience, making SEAlah especially comfortable for longer stays.

The thoughtful touches continue throughout the home, with additional seating areas offering guests plenty of places to spread out and relax. Armoires provide convenient storage for clothing and personal belongings, allowing you to settle in and make yourself at home. The owners have truly thought of the details that can make a vacation stay feel special.

Outside, the large concrete back patio offers another inviting place to enjoy the island air. Additional lounge chairs provide a comfortable spot for soaking up the sunshine, reading, enjoying a cup of coffee, or winding down after a day of exploring. With the home surrounded by trees and tucked away from the busier areas of the island, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to simply slow down and enjoy being here.

SEAlah’s East End location makes it a wonderful home base for discovering all that Dauphin Island has to offer. The East End Beach is just a 3-minute drive away, while the Public and Middle Beaches are about 7–8 minutes away, and the West End Beach is just a 10-minute drive. You’ll also be close to the Alabama Aquarium at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab, East End boat launches, the Mobile Bay Ferry, historic Fort Gaines, the Audubon Bird Sanctuary, and local bike trails. Spend your days exploring the island, enjoying the beaches, watching for wildlife, launching a boat, riding the trails, or taking a scenic ferry ride across Mobile Bay. Then return to the quiet comfort of SEAlah and leave the day behind.
