Unit 055 - Bough House. An extraordinary offering. Surrounded by woods, privacy abounds and the outside comes in for this unique, architect designed, Bauhaus style, exceptionally well-maintained home nestled at the foot of a dune and overlooking the golf course! Enjoy the isolation and quiet of Dauphin Island's maritime forest on the east end while being located close to all beaches on a dead-end street with wooded lots on both sides. Offering fabulous birding opportunities, this home has over 1000 square feet of outside space, including a wonderful covered lower deck and balcony and an upper balcony. Walls of windows look out to the dune and provide a lovely view of the golf course lake and Gulf from the upper balcony and dining area. Each room has its own direct access to the balconies. Ideal for two families with four bedrooms, including two master bedrooms, and four baths for 8 guests maximum. Sleeping accommodations include two queens, two sets of twin bunks, and an office area with premium sleeper sofa. Furniture includes pieces by iconic 20th century designers, including Eames, Corbusier, and Alto. Wireless internet. Flat screen tv's in every room with cable and a surround sound audio system. Top quality fixtures including Bosch dishwasher, washer and dryer, new induction stove, refrigerator and microwave. Exceptionally well-equipped kitchen including handmade ceramics.

The house is solar powered, reducing probability of power outages. In addition, 220 and 110 outlets are available to guests in parking area.

No parties or events allowed at this location. Occupancy must be observed at all times. Primary renter must be over age 25 and must be present during the entire stay.

Additional Charges: Cleaning fee, 13% lodging tax, non-refundable reservation fee and damage waiver, optional travel insurance.

Saturday to Saturday reservations preferred during peak summer season.

"My family and I loved our stay at Bough House! Beautiful and peaceful setting, plenty of space for everyone, a dining table large enough for our entire family to eat at, and a very well-appointed kitchen are just a few of the things we loved most. It’s apparent the owners care very much about their home and it made for a wonderful experience as their guests. We hope to return to Bough House!

"Excellent hosts and a wonderful property. Great view over the golf course and ample room in the house. Fully equipped kitchen, spotless bathrooms and landscaped surroundings. Close to everything yet peaceful and secluded. Check this place out if you are coming to the island!
