Unit 031 - Salt & Light: 3 BEDROOM/2 BATH: Newly renovated to showcase a fresh, clean, cozy look, the former Crabby Patty has been truly transformed. Set at a great location with only a 45 second walk to the Gulf of Mexico water line and on the same side of Bienville as the Gulf beach. The new location of the kitchen maximizes the space and boasts a clean white backsplash, new cabinets, new extra large stainless steel refrigerator, beautiful bar stools, and Keurig coffee maker. Natural fixture accents such as bamboo blinds and rattan pendant dining lighting. Cozy couches face the large flatscreen tv and warm-toned new hard flooring complete the look. Bedrooms offer king (not pictured yet), queen, and two twin beds. Writers desk in master offers a space to work remotely and brand new washer and dryer in living area. Sunning deck with new chairs are ready to provide the perfect spot for your morning coffee.

"The house was great! Loved the location. Easy walk down the street to the beach.. and it’s a really easy walk! House was cute as the pictures and very clean! Kitchen week stocked. Lots of towels and there were even beach toys! Lots of family things to do on the island. Hope to visit again soon!

"This cottage is absolutely charming! We loved everything about it! The kitchen is “ state of the art”. The beds SO COMFY! The living area has lovely and comfortable furniture! The deck is ideal for reading or eating at the umbrella table! The walk to the beach…a few minutes! We WILL Abe back!

Get-away with the grandkids!

"I brought my daughter and grandchildren (ages 5 and 2) for our first trip to Dauphin Island. We were looking for a simple beach trip that the kids would enjoy, and we weren't disappointed! The house was perfect for our needs with each adult having her own room and the kids sharing the room with twin beds. It was a short walk to the end of the street for beach time each day and a quick drive to anywhere on the island. We would definitely stay here again!

"Enjoyed the new, large deck and stairs convenient to parking which made unloading our luggage convenient. Only a minute walk to beach . This cozy beach house has been newly renovated and has all of the comforts of home. TV in each of the 3 bedrooms. Perfect place to stay!

"If you’re looking for an awesome place to stay on Dauphin Island, Salt n Light is the place! My family and wanted a new place for our beach vacations and we found it. #031-Salt n Light was super clean, cozy and has all the amenities needed for a safe and relaxing stay. The beach is literally a 5 minute walk. Please do your research on the island (beaches, restaurants, etc..). What you give up on having clear blue water is a calm family atmosphere that will provide many awesome memories. The traffic near Destin, Ft. Walton & Pensacola is excruciating! Also research the restaurants on the island for hours of operation and food options. We found buying groceries and grilling at the house is so much better. We 100% recommend the rental and island. We are already planning our next trip down.

A Perfectly Restful Place

"What a perfect little spot for a getaway. Our stay was so peaceful and relaxing. This home was clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed. The porch was amazing for morning coffee time and for watching the sunrise. The layout of the house was great. The living room area is super cozy and the smart TV was an added bonus. There was great kitchen space for us to cook, and the perfect table for meals and game night. There is a picnic table below the house for extra shade when we wanted to have a meal outside on a warm day. The quick walk to the beach was so easy and the beach itself was so peaceful. We watched the sunset every night! What an amazing place for our getaway! We enjoyed every minute of our stay and are so grateful.

"I can’t say enough about this charming home with every luxury needed. You can see the ocean from your balcony enjoying some coffee. The decor was too notch and there was plenty to do while it stormed one night. We absolutely loved the short walk to the beach and searching for crabs at night. I appreciated all of the recommendations and information the paneer left for us. It was our first time to the island and won’t be the last! We will be return customers for sure!!!
