This 5BR/4.5BA home boasts breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico, making your vacation dreams come true. Located in a secure, gated community on the quiet East End of Dauphin Island, it offers ample space for your family and friends to spread out while enjoying each other's company. The spacious home sleeps 14.

The front deck is one of the home's highlights, spanning the width of the house and offering a stunning view of the Gulf. You can relax in the tall outdoor chairs while taking in the beauty of the surroundings. The house is also equipped with Adirondack-style seating and an outdoor table under the house, providing a serene view of the maritime forest behind the home where you might glimpse an eagle, osprey, or fox in the dune. Kids will love building sandcastles in the backyard, and they can rinse off in the outdoor shower.

The open floor plan is perfect for entertaining guests, with a large living room with a flat-screen TV with Dish satellite and a half bath nearby. The formal dining room can accommodate six people, while the tiled kitchen bar can seat four. The kitchen has abundant cabinet space, extra dishes, glassware, silverware, crockpot, two microwaves, 15-cup coffee maker, highchair, booster seat and excellent supply of cookware. Stainless appliances are included, and an additional full-size refrigerator is in the laundry room adjacent to the kitchen.

The Master Bedroom is a luxurious retreat with a King bed, seating area, flat-screen TV, and DVD player. The Master Bath is equally impressive, with a generous countertop, two sinks, walk-in closets, a built-in dresser, a large shower, a garden jacuzzi tub, and a linen closet. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms offer Queen Beds and share a walk-through full bath. The 4th and 5th bedrooms are located upstairs, each with an attached full bath and each with a TV. The 4th bedroom has two twin beds and a bunk bed with a full-size mattress on the lower bunk, complete with built-in drawers for storage. Three can sleep in the 5th bedroom, which has a Queen bed, a day bed, and a flat-screen TV. Kids will love the bonus little finished attic space, which functions as a kidâ€™s hideout/playroom with bean bag chairs.

Beach access is almost directly across the street from the home, with a boardwalk leading straight to the waves. You can enjoy beautiful views no matter where you look, and the East End location puts you close to the Estuarium, Audubon Bird Sanctuary, and Ferry Landing.

Linens are provided for your convenience, and the home has a charcoal grill. Please note that renters must be at least 25 years old. Additional charges include a cleaning fee, 11% lodging tax, non-refundable reservation fee, and damage waiver. Optional travel insurance is also available.

A Beautiful Home and an Amazing Island

"This beautiful home in a lovely gated community gave us so much privacy. The beaches were almost all to ourselves. The next door Audubon Bird Sanctuary was absolutely divine, peaceful, educational and like a walk through dense woods. We took the ferry to Fort Morgan and saw many dolphins. It was a delightful boat ride. The home itself had a well stocked kitchen, plenty of room, lovely furniture (we loved the swivel rocker chairs) and a great place for playing lots of family games. None of the interior door locks worked, but that may be purposeful. The outdoor furniture, front and beneath, was lovely as well and comfortable. This was our first visit to Dauphin Island and we would love to return to this quaint, quiet and homey island. The wave action was a disappointment to my kids, the water was very calm. Ladies, check out Hippie Fish Boutique (West side of the island, where the bigger beaches lie) they design their own T-shirts and more and have beautiful items to remember your trip by.

"The location of this house is amazing. It’s right across a private street from the beach. The private beach across the street is small but still enjoyable. The house was clean and well stocked, but we could have used more towels. A beach closet with some chairs and beach towels would have also been an excellent amenity. The house included access to 4 beaches that were very nice. This was my first time visiting the island and we would love to return!

"My family and I had a wonderful time during our recent stay. The house was clean and inviting. The area was quiet and peaceful and we enjoyed the view of the gulf. The only down side was shortage of towels and garbage bags. We plan to visit again!

Amazing Location and So Private

"We loved this property. It was exactly as described. It was closer to the beach than we thought based the photos. It was extremely clean. The kitchen is well equipped and large. The living area was great. The bedroom layouts were very nice with plenty of beds for everyone. This was our first trip to Dauphin Island. It is completely noncommercialized so do not expect McDonald’s or Walmart. The few restaurants do get busy. We ate at the house most of the time. We did LOVE skinners seafood and island rainbow Pizza. The beach is narrow but ample. I think maybe it has not been reestablished since the 2020 hurricanes. We rented chairs and umbrellas from Chaise n Rays. I highly recommend. I can’t adequately describe how private it is. It’s like you have your own island with very few visitors. The rental company is also great to work. Extremely efficient and responsive. Some helpful hints: Order groceries from Walmart in Theodore and pick up on your way in. There are three units in the house. Make sure you notice there is a thermostat in the master. The on island grocery store is well equipped but pretty expensive. The ferry is a fun ride and we saw lots of dolphins.
