The Bellingrath Gardens Magic Christmas in Lights is an amazing holiday attraction. The Magic Christmas in Lights is open every night from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. starting on November 24, 2023, and ending on January 3, 2024(with the exception of Christmas and New Year’s Day).
The walking tour takes about an hour to complete and goes through beautiful Christmas light displays with festive music playing as you go. You can purchase tickets online to see the lights or buy your tickets at the door. Parking is free for the Magic Christmas in Lights, and you can rent a wheelchair or wagon for $6 if needed.

While visiting Bellingrath Gardens for the Magic Christmas in Lights, you can go on different tours of the gardens. During the evenings, guided tours of the Bellingrath estate are held, taking you through the history of the gardens and the home.
The Bellingrath Home was designed by George B. Rogers, a Mobile architect, and was built in 1935. It served as a place for the Bellingrath family to stay as they watched over the Gardens, which had been their weekend property before being turned into a Dauphin Island museum welcoming guests year-round. The home still stands as it did when it was built in 1935, with its original furnishings, and is a sight you won’t want to miss on your Dauphin Island vacation.

You can get your picture taken with Santa in the Magnolia Room until December 23. Santa will not be at the Bellingrath Gardens & Home after this date, so you should plan your trip to the Bellingrath Gardens Magic Christmas in Lights before December 24 to get that perfect picture of Santa with your children or family.
