But if you really want to make the most of your time here, get out on the water with a boat rental! The Dauphin Island Marina makes it easy to rent your boat and set sail around the beautiful blue waters. Then, if you’re staying in one of our Dauphin Island rentals with boat slips, you can head out on the waves whenever you want! Here’s everything you need to know!

About the Dauphin Island Marina

The Dauphin Island is truly your one-stop-shop for everything related to boating. Of course, they offer tons of wet and dry slips and boat rentals, but there are tons of other services available as well (more on that in a minute). The team here is highly passionate about the water and helping visitors experience Dauphin Island to the fullest. If you have a question about renting a boat, Dauphin Island fishing, or anything else having to do with the water, they can help!

Pontoon Boat Rentals

If you’re looking for a Dauphin Island pontoon boat rental, the Dauphin Island Marina is the easiest place to get one. Currently, the marina offers three pontoon boats that you can rent: a 2018 Bennington Cruising Pontoon as well as both a 2016 and a 2018 Bennington Fishing Model.

Each boat offers comfortable bench seating and a Captain’s chair, the capacity for 25 gallons of gas, under-seat storage, and more. The 2018 Cruising Pontoon can seat eight passengers, 2016. The fishing Model is suited for 6, and the 2018 Fishing Model can fit ten people.

All boats do require a $250 security deposit and the cost of the gas that you use. But don’t worry; you’ll get that $250 back after you return your boat. Boat rentals range anywhere from $325 to $1950 depending on how long you rent for (half a day up to five consecutive days) as well as the number of passengers (anywhere from 6 to 10).

Other Services

But the Dauphin Island Marina doesn’t simply offer pontoon boat rentals. If you live close and want to bring your boat, you can store your boat at the marina while you’re in town. Both wet and dry slips are offered.

The Dauphin Island Marina also has a pump-out station for those who need a place to empty their waste. Dumping waste directly into the water can seriously harm the creatures who live under the waves (as well as their environment), so it’s vital to dispose of your waste correctly. The pump-out stations are easy to spot here; look for the orange and white signs.

If you find yourself in a bit of trouble while you’re out on the water, the Dauphin Island Marina can help. They offer towing services for those who run out of fuel or otherwise get stuck. Keep in mind that there is a charge for this service for non-members. If you’re in the area often, becoming a member may be more cost-effective if you take advantage of this service.

While you’re at the marina, be sure to get a bite to eat at Capt’n Snapper’s Marina Bar & Grill! You’ll experience a welcoming and inviting atmosphere as well as some of the most delicious seafood that Dauphin Island has to offer! Crab legs and half-shell oysters are some of their best sellers, but if you’re not in the mood for seafood, try a ribeye steak or a juicy burger.
