When and Where

The Christmas Tree Lighting Party and celebration really brightens up at 7:00 p.m. with the illumination of thousands of string lights hanging from the boughs of a broad evergreen.

The Christmas Tree Lighting happens beside the water tower that reads “Welcome to Dauphin Island” – a testament to the warm, friendly nature of our community. The tree will be located on the corner of Bienville Blvd. and Dauphin Island Pkwy., but festivities will take place in the surrounding area and along Bienville Blvd throughout the day.

Christmas Boat Parade

And hang around afterward because on Saturday, Dec. 15, the Christmas Boat Parade is coming back to the island after nearly 20 years. It will start at 5 p.m. at Billy Goat Hole on East End.
