· Swimming Advisory

o The Alabama Department of Public Health has re-issued a swimming advisory for the waters surrounding Dauphin Island that will go into effect at 6:00 p.m. this afternoon due to expected oil trajectories over the next several days. For more information, please go to www.adph.org.

· Status of the Oil Spill

o Below the information sites and numbers, you will find two trajectory maps for the oil spill. The first will show the 24 hour trajectory with the second providing the 72 hour trajectory.

· Updated Fishing/Shrimping Closure

o A map of the new closure is included at the bottom of this email. More information is available at http://sero.nmfs.noaa.gov/deepwater_horizon_oil_spill.htm.

· Claims Process

o You can start the process by calling 1-800-440-0858 to get a claims number.
o Go to your local claims center (addresses under the Sites and Links section) with your claims number and/or call 1-800-573-8249.

· Small Business Administration (SBA) Program

· The SBA is offering low interest loans through its Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) program. SBA officials urge businesses to meet with a customer service representative in person at their Business Recovery Center (Bayou La Batre Community Center, 12745 Padgett Switch Road, Irvington, AL 36544) or call the toll free number (1-800-659-2955 or 1-800-877-8339 for individuals with hearing or speech disabilities) to inquire about your options.
