· Swimming Advisory Lifted

o Due to improving conditions over the last several weeks, the Alabama Department of Public Health has lifted its swimming advisory for waters surrounding Dauphin Island. More information is available at http://adph.org/news/assets/100618.pdf.

· Status of the Oil Spill

· Below the information sites and numbers, you will find two trajectory maps for the oil spill. The first displays the 24 hour trajectory and the second provides the 72 hour trajectory.

· Claims Process

· To start the claims process, call 1-800-440-0858 to get a claims number.

· Go to the claims center with your claims number and/or call 1-800-573-8249.

· Small Business Administration (SBA) Program

· The SBA is offering low interest loans through its Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) program. SBA officials urge businesses to meet with a customer service representative in person at their Business Recovery Center (Bayou LaBatre Community Center, 12745 Padgett Switch Road, Irvington, AL 36544) or call the toll free number (1-800-659-2955 or 1-800-877-8339 for individuals with hearing or speech disabilities) to inquire about your options.

· Fishing Closure Information

· A map of the current fishing closure area is included at the bottom of this email or can be found at http://sero.nmfs.noaa.gov/deepwater_horizon_oil_spill.htm.
