Employment Opportunity
The Alabama Career Center System (ACCS) is working with BP and their contractor, P2S, to identify 500 workers from Mobile County to work on oil spill cleanup, if and when it becomes necessary. More information is attached under “oil spill jobs DIR.” You can apply by:

BP Community Outreach/Claims:
BP is in the process of setting up a Community Outreach Center on Dauphin Island for Mobile County that will manage and expedite information between local governments and the ongoing prevention and recovery process. More information will be provided in future updates.
Along with the Community Outreach Center , BP will be opening up an office on Dauphin Island to expedite claims. The office is expected to be operational next week. More information will be provided in future updates.


Local Workers Needed by Contaminant Control, Inc.
This North Carolina company is conducting a training on Dauphin Island for workers on May 13 at 8 a.m. The training is a four day program. For more information call 704-273-1500.
